Masquerade Night.

Sorry but I don't have any photos.. all the photos are taken by the seniors...

Well I was the "youngest" there... everyone else were in batch 29 or 33..
I'm in 34 which is the earliest this year...
But what can I say? I was the bartending commis...
And I've bartended in events and small functions before so it was pretty normal for me...
But quite the experience, cause everything was kinda rushing..
Unlike bartending at home for your friends or family... you can slowly take your time and fool around and shit...

This time it's for guests...guests I don't even know...
And bartending working with people I don't even know...

But everything turned out fineee.. sad part was we were only able to eat after the event... which was like 10:40 pm or something...

Now standing for 5 hours non stop for me... twas okay... felt the pain but am used to it...

Oooo Oooo and they gave me this.... well not gave.... got to pay for the shit...
"Gave" me this awesome vest and bow tie for the Masquerade Night.
I look flyyyyyy :D


I'll try to take a photo of myself in it one day when I have enough free time to go through the trouble to put on a shirt, slacks, vest and bow tie for fun ==

Got accepted into Student Council, but now we're on trials.
wtf man... I came for last minute meetings and went through an interview

Masquerade Night is coming... I won't be a guest...
I'm gonna be the freaking bartender :DDD

For the first time in my life, I get to bartend for a REAL party / function..
It was a rare opportunity, cause most of the staff organizing this event are seniors... I'm only in the 1st term man..

But they were short on bartenders, and BOOM I suggested myself and I got in just like that... Event is this Saturday.

Estimating time of me being busy on Saturday : 12 hours

Tourism Geography and Business Of Hospitality & Tourism.



Now here's the progress.

Always hated Geography and even though most of it is based on general knowledge.
My general knowledge has never been good. Nuff said.
So I'm pretty much effed.


Business Of H&T... yuppp.
Find it fascinating, so it shouldn't be a problem.
But don't wanna keep high hopes.


Shitty thing about my brain is.....some people can do stuff or learn stuff, because they must and it's for their benefit.

MY brain, only does that only if I find in interesting or fascinating.
Brief example, lecturer for F&B Theory class is Mr Alex.


Some of my classmates find his class.... dumb? Not sure if that's the word but you get my point.
But I love his classes.. I mean it's F&B, that's what I wanna pursue in!

But studying is never easy.




Also, spent most of my day watching Dark Knight for the sake of hearing the quotes from Heath Ledger and Michael Caine.

Hello everyone. So sorry about my absence, now this whole post will be about my life in KL aiteee. You no likey, you can leave :)


Okay! Orientation was like a dead town...everyone was quiet, into their own world.
And only the fools made friends during orientation, cause the moment they divide us all into groups...people started crying --
Saps.


Now.... during my whole entire life in college, I met a few people whom I can say Friends in college... people who play hard in everything they do.


The Following People Whom Are My Friends Are :

Navin Kumar - Navin is taller than me, and he has proper use of the English language unlike the typical indian-english. He is the one who brings out life among us all in our group...and my closest guy-friend in college. He'll always be my "kaki" in everything we do.


Vivien Chai - Vivien is from Kuching. Vivien has the innocent daddy's lil girl look, but looks can always be deceiving. Nice girl, very friendly with a down to earth attitude. She earned the nickname Mafia Princess Vivien I from me and Navin due to her size and that me and Navin are always with her and looking out for her. Me, Navin and her are always together.


Arika Madynah - Arika's mom is chinese and her dad is a muslim..and she has an awesome loud attitude. Arika and her best bitch Iqa (from what she says) are like the girls in Gossip Girl or those girls that talk alot in every group. Our group won't be complete without them.


Afiqah Isabelle Yusuf - Or we call her Iqa. Iqa is one hard girl to break.... she is in college and at the same time working for KLPac. She is a very friendly girl and a pleasant girl, also the only girl to make eye contact with me and smile at me during orientation. But when you add Arika in there with her... well, let's just say it's not pleasant anymore. x)


Rainer Prasetya - Awesome name no? We call him Rain...yes like that gay asian singer. Rainer is from Indonesia, and believe it or not, he's only 16. Damn unfair right?? Indonesian customs..once you're 16, college in you go. Rainer has awesome Godly skills with powerpoint or anything to do with computers, so whenever we have assignments we make sure he's with us :)



Anna Nuraina - Anna is malay. Anna has a very down to earth attitude too..and also the best friend to Vivien. Anna is always there to talk to whenever you are in need or to open up.


Rainbow Chye Hong - Another awesome name. Rainbow is the innocent girl in all of us....which is good cause she is our self-conscious whenever we're about to do something dumb.


Kennedy - We also call him JFK. haha.. lame I know. Anyways, Kennedy is also from Indonesia and same age as Rainer. Kennedy has style, why? EVERY single day without miss...he always appear in college with his coat....even if its just one 2 hour class for today... Kennedy would always look fly. Kennedy is the responsible one in us.


Yohanes Setiawan - Yohan, also from Indonesia...not much to talk about him, he's usually quiet, and a real softy.


Jasmine Tan - Jasmine is a typical girl whom you can just talk to about anything anytime... and she is very straight forward too, the 1st week when we got to know each other, she pointed out that I spoke too fast. This changed me greatly but in a good way and for the better. But Jasmine is always there whenever you need a help in hand.


Alicia Tania - Alicia is from Indonesia, not sure about her age but she speaks English fluently and has an Australian accent a bit in her. It's always fun to speak to her cause of her accent.


Vanessa Tevi Kumares - Vanessa is Chindian, and she can speak mandarin....she always rubs it into my face about the fact I can't speak chinese but she can. Vanessa isn't in the Hospitality course, instead she is in Tourism but we do see each other often and are close with.


Saltanat Mananbayeva - We call her Salta. Salta is from Kazakhstan... Don't see her much but we do have same classes together, she is ever smiling and pretty tall too.


Nora Abzalova - Nora is also from Kazakhstan, she has VERY fair skin...and also close friends with Salta.


Jika - We just call her Jika... her name is too complicated to be published for your eyes. And Jika is also from Kazakhstan and close friends with Nora and Salta.


Grace and Xiang Wei - Grace is from Indonesia, the reason I put them together, they both have similar attitudes x) only Grace is good with computers too.


Remon Melchizedek - Spite his Sir name... Remon is local, usually quiet often, but great ideas for stuff. Remon is always the one whom you see not talking in class while the teacher is teaching x)


Aiman, Adrian and Mani - All local, and the dudes in my group. Aiman is malay, Adrian is chinese and Mani is indian. Mani has guts, till now his hair is still dyed when the rules are against it. It's been a week man. These are the dudes whom you can speak about guy stuff ;D and Mani has worked as a bartender in a Spanish restaurant before :B


Sheena Liam - I have not seen her in ages though, but she is in the same college as me, met her through Daryl....but even though I have new friends in college, among everyone there, she is the only one I have known the longest. So despite everything, she is still someone I can turn to in Taylors.

At least they are better than those who just wanna play hard in enjoying the freedom in college.
No parents, no rules. Road to self-destruction... only the toughest are able to resist and survive. Almost EVERYONE in every single table in all the mamak stalls...every single table WILL have someone smoking.
Looks can be deceiving, nerds smoking? Including innocent lil girls....
I must admit.....getting influenced there is strong.


Well this is my 2nd week on college, and I got to say the heat is just starting.
Assignments are pilling up... I just got over with one which was pretty screwed up.

Geography Tourism is seriously a pain in the ass. The only reason why these are hard cause......

Hospitality Management, most of it is practical. And assignments are also important....alot of research needs to be done, written exams... I think only 3 or 4 subjects only have that among the other 12 other subjects.
I have another 4 weeks to finish up 5 assignments, maybe even more to come.


Well we do need a break every now and then right? So the gang went ice skating in Sunway...

I can skate!!!! Compare to the last time I went there, fell 53 times (yes, I counted)
Now..... only 4 :D

I really wish they could just let us have one assignment only, and once we are done with that, move on to the next assignment. But they just have to pour in the assignments like water. 5 assignments together and due on the same week.
It's really crazy.... but it's college, not school anymore. Time to grow up Wayne.
